Dr. Sudhakar Sampangi

Dr Sudhakar. S, MBBS,DMRD,MD , is a Consultant Radiologist at Niramai and at HCG cancer hospital, Bangalore, currently Heading department of ultrasound and mammogram. He has completed MBBS from Devraj Urs Medical college Kolar, DMRD from Siddhartha Medical college Tumkur, MDRD from Texilla American University Guyana. He is a specialist in breast imaging and intervention. He has over 20 years of diverse work experience of handling ultrasound scans, elastography, mammography and CT scans. He is faculty of Siemens for training in South Asia on Elastography and also a faculty of BARD for training in vacuum assisted core biopsy system. He has done multiple presentations in Elastography at international conferences. He is also into research on developing new tools like thermography for screening breast cancer. He has won best paper award at World Science and Technology conference at Amsterdam. He does ultrasound guided procedures like Gold fiducial for cyber knife and Excision of fibroadenomas and papilloma using vacuum core biopsy. Dr Sudhakar is also a consulting radiologist and clinical advisor to Niramai Health Analytix.
